Whisky For Everyone @ The Whisky Lounge, London

The Whisky Lounge, one of the UK's best consumer whisky shows, is swinging in to London town on the weekend of Saturday and Sunday the 18th and 19th of May.  Are you going?  If not then, you should grab a ticket if you like whisky or are getting in to the subject and live in or around the capital.  Last year, three quarters of those attending the London show had never been to a whisky show and 99% said they would go to another one.

This gave us an idea and we are delighted to now be able to bring this idea to you.  We have teamed up with the guys at The Whisky Lounge to offer guided tours of the festival.  Matt C and Karen, Whisky For Everyone's founders, will be on hand to give tours around the festival at regular intervals throughout both Saturday sessions.  These will be FREE and able to be booked at the front desk on the day when you arrive at the show - spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

The tours are designed for whisky beginners and whisky show virgins in mind, as we are aware that the vast array of exhibitors and different whiskies to sample can be a bit daunting. Matt and Karen will take you around selected stands to demonstrate how to taste whisky, the different styles on offer and the order to taste them in, all with some cool facts thrown in.  The aim is to set you up for the rest of the show so that you can discover the whiskies on offer with confidence.

The Whisky Lounge London is being held on Saturday 18 May (two sessions 12-4pm and 5-9pm) and Sunday 19 May (incorporating the Jam & Dram event, which runs from 12-5pm) at the Village Underground in Shoreditch, EC2A 3PQ.  To book tickets for any of the sessions, or other special workshops within the event, please visit ...

Upon entry to the festival, you will receive a goodie bag including a Glencairn whisky glass, a bottle of water and a festival guide booklet.  We hope to see you there on one of our tours, but if not just stop us and say 'hello'.  In the meantime, here's a short video of last year's event to whet the appetite ...
